Dr. Corinna Gorgon

Dr. Gorgon, originally from Carson City and raised in Las Vegas, takes great pride in practicing veterinary medicine in her home state. Her passion for veterinary medicine began at a very young age, and in 2009, at just 16 years old, she began her journey into the veterinary field. In 2013, she earned her Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she gained hands-on experience caring for the university’s sheep flock while proudly supporting the Wolfpack.

In 2014, Dr. Gorgon continued her education at Colorado State University, earning a Master of Public Health degree with a focus on the “One Health” approach, which recognizes the important connection between animals, people, and the environment. After completing her master’s degree, she relocated to sunny Southern California, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2019.

Dr. Gorgon’s professional interests include ophthalmology, public health, and preventative medicine. She is passionate about providing compassionate, proactive care and helping pets live happy, healthy lives.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Gorgon loves exploring the outdoors and traveling with her family. She is on a mission to visit every U.S. national park and is especially excited to share those adventures with her two boys as they grow. When she’s not working or planning the next family adventure, she enjoys life at home with Willow, her beloved Bernedoodle.
